Victorian Revival Mixed Media Tassel Ornament - Red Plaid Christmas AngelFrom my Tassel ornament line, here's a Christmas Beauty! 9" long x 4 1 4" wide, my Guardian Angel is composed of gauze, plaid ribbon and a tassel; colors are cream, gold and red. A tinsel star crowns the Victorian Angel's head and a bit of holly, twigs and berries adds a touch of color. Backed with a wood oval which can be personalized by the new owner. One of a Kind!

I thought it was a fold out which I thought "cool"

Condition is very nice with just a touch of minor corner wear

and intelligent

In the 1/2 doll style

GET WELL QUICK is the sentiment and the graphics are of a girl and boy pulling a cart full of potted flowers

possibly as late as 1920

From France

The chenille used in the making is Vintage (1970s) and the face of the girl is a reproduction of a Victorian die cut in my collection (no copyright infringement)

For the jeweler that likes collecting cabinet photos of antique jewelry

I have only shown you what the piece will look like when folded - I didn't do a complete construction

finding one in such a design AND condition as this is a bit harder to find

but it is entirely unique and ONE OF A KIND
